When I realized I hadn't heard any noises or talking coming from the twins for probably five minutes, I went to investigate. Silence in our house is not a good thing. In just FIVE minutes, the boys managed to make their marks (hands, fingers, and feet marks, that is) in the bathroom, their bedroom, Carson's bedroom, the hallway, and in the dining room.
I took out the stamps for Gavin, but Ben seemed to have the wild idea of inking up his hands and feet. We walked through the rooms and Ben would tell me, "There's some on Carson's bed. Sorry, Mommy," "Here's some on this door. Sorry, Mommy," "There's more over here. Sorry, Mommy." It was so cute and so hard to be mad at him, especially since the ink
mostly came off pretty easily. (There's still a half foot print that won't come out of our bathroom floor for some reason.)
This morning, Brian discovered hand marks on the inside door of their bathroom while brushing Ben's teeth. Ben's response? "Sorry, Daddy." So sincere, but such a stinker.
