Super Underwear Boy

It's clean. I promise.

Dentist Visit

Ben and Gavin had their first visit to the dentist yesterday. Gavin wanted to have Big Bird sit with him, and did pretty well sitting still for the most part. A little outburst here and there, but not terrible.

Ben waited patiently, running up and down the hallway, for his turn after me. Daddy had to hold him in his lap and he did not enjoy the experience as much.

The dentist said the twins have identical looking teeth and they look great! Sure wish the dentist said the same thing about my teeth. No more milk before bed, no matter how much I scream and cry for it. And Mommy and Daddy need to floss my teeth every day! I didn't really care about the cavities, though. I loved going to the dentist because I got a dinosaur and a sticker and cool dinosaur floss!

Entertaining the troops

Today my mommy watched seven kids at our house. If you were to ask her, she is worn out, but then again, she always is, especially by the end of the day. However, she thought it was easier to watch seven than three! The older kids kept us younger kids safe and entertained, so that kept Mommy free to make grilled cheese sandwiches for lunch, keep up with dishes, do a couple loads of laundry, and make dinner. What a great day!

My Cousins in Cali

My mommy's cousin has three beautiful girls and a gorgeous step daughter. At least we have Cousin Zoey up here as our very own curly haired blondie!

One day we will make the Disneyland cousin photo happen.

Spiderman

I had soooo much fun at Drew's house the other day!

Seattle-We made it!

This was our longest trip since Gav and Ben were born. The three hour drive turned into four, but that's not too bad! First stop, Greenwood Park to get our energy out before heading over to Daniel's house. We had a BBQ, ran around their yard, and got to share Daniel's very first bath with friends.

A little background: My daddy grew up across the street from Hil. They were in each other's weddings, and before the twins were born, my parents visited with them often. I met Daniel when I was about 16 months old and Daniel was just a couple of months old. We finally got to see each other again and meet each other's baby brothers!

Our Seattle Family-The Lyons

Sisters-in-law Melani and Kerryn with 3 week old Ella and 2 month old James. Ella was just released from the hospital the day we arrived!

Siblings: Joy, holding nephew James. James' daddy, Hil. Newest daddy, Ken, holding his daughter, Ella.

Grandma Barbara helping my daddy with my brothers in the parking lot after church at the Salvation Army where Hil plays piano and conducts the brass band. Joy and Ken also play in the band. They've been going there since they were little like us. Daddy and Uncle Bob went to the Lutheran Church just up the street. They grew up across the street from the Lyons in Seattle.

From giant soccer ball to trumpet lessons

Our last night in Seattle was spent preparing for a long ride home. First, get everyone nice and worn out by running around outside with a giant soccer ball and chased away from the stairs by "the claw", then cool off in the crab sandbox. After dinner, we went through the entire bedtime routine. Bath, pajamas, snack, allergy medicine, brush teeth, and stories with group pictures and trumpet lessons thrown in for fun.

We had a great time with Daniel, James, Kez, and Hil! Thanks for sharing all of your toys with us, Daniel! We hope to see you again soon!

Three Amigos at the Fair

My best buddies, Drew and Garrett, and I got to go on lots and lots of rides at the fair! Gavin, Ben, and Luke got to go on a couple also, but Isaiah just watched from the stroller this year. Before the rides, we looked at the barn animals, watched a clown show, and ate ice cream cones! It was a blast!

Nature Walk

Gavin insisted on pulling the wagon the entire way, except for the very beginning and very end. We walked at least a mile around the park, asking him if he'd like someone else to pull and he held his hand up, saying "No" each time. Okey dokey, Mr. Muscles.
