Spring Snow!

We've heard that it even snowed at the beach! It came down pretty heavy this morning, but didn't really stick. Gavin and Ben thought it was great, but I didn't want my picture taken, so I ducked and dove out of site every time Mommy put the camera up. I'm tired of the spotlight and flashes! Geesh! (The snow doesn't show up that well on the daffodils, but it looked like a fun contrast live.)

Easter Bunny Racing

Yes! He came to our house! And I found most of the eggs, filled with jelly beans and chocolate! Some of them were the ones we dyed and I let my brothers put those ones in their baskets. My brothers found some candy filled ones before I woke up, but once I was on the hunt, nobody had a chance to even touch another egg. He he he.

After breakfast, we drove to Grandma Joanne and Grandpa Dennis' house. The Easter Bunny came there, too! We got little Lightning McQueen car baskets and Thomas trains. My two favorite toys! Grandma Michelle and Grandpa Jack went on a cruise for Spring Break and to celebrate Grandpa's 60th birthday. We went out to eat on Saturday and got cool spikey bouncy balls from them. We also had baskets with a summer outfit and stuffed animals attached to the outside. I thought the bunnies would enjoy racing, just like Ben, Gav, and I like to do around the house!

Thank you, everybunny!

Coloring Eggs

I was sooooooooo excited to color eggs this year! I've become quite the expert since doing it last year. Still lack a little patience, but I'd say Mommy thought it was a success. We tried to dye them while Gavin and Ben ate their yogurt, so they could watch and not get too upset about not being able to participate. I think they were more curious than jealous, which was a good thing. (Gavin wasn't feeling so well yesterday when these pics were taken, but he's much better today. Notice the spoon placed across the yogurt bowl. Normally, everything would have been thrown to the floor. He really wasn't himself.)

My Birthday

Okay, so I really need to write about my birthday before March is up since I did just turn four this month. ALL year long, I've been telling people that, "I'm Tawson, and my birthday is Mawch six!" Finally, the day came, and I told my folks, "I'm four now, and next year I will be five!" I like to plan ahead.

Thought I'd include pictures of my birthday past. Still scooting around on my first birthday, but enjoying life from the ground. I started walking at exactly 18 months on Labor Day weekend and didn't look back! I've been running ever since. Vroom! I was just talking in sentences at my second birthday, but I really wouldn't STOP talking by the time I turned three. Now that I'm four, I talk for my brothers as well. My parents seem to think they might know what my brothers want, but I like to tell them something different. I also show them how fun it is to jump on the couch and run around the house! Life is a blast! So gotta move fast!

And Mommy says that Terrible Twos have nothing on Thunderous Threes! So far, I seem to have matured a bit now that I'm four. Perhaps we've entered the Fabulous Fours? Or it may be that Mommy's been reading books like Happiest Toddler on the Block and Positive Discipline and has been trying Love & Logic on me as well. She thinks all of her efforts are finally working, but I like to throw her for a loop and tell her, "That's a bad word!" She responds with, "But, Carson, I just asked you if you washed your hands." Sometimes I retort with, "You're a bad mommy!" Sometimes, I like to tell her, "Yes, Mommy, see?" I like to keep her on her toes.

Even if I've had some tough moments during the day, I'm usually giving out lots of hugs and kisses to Mommy, Daddy, Gavin, and Bennett all day long as well, especially before bed. My entire family loves to hear me say, "I love you. Good night. Sweet dreams and don't let the bed bugs bite!"

First Park Outing Alone

Mom decided she could handle the three of us on her own at a park yesterday afternoon. On the way there, I told her, "If Gavin runs one way and Ben runs the other way, you can get Gavin and I will get Ben and keep him there until you get him." I know how it is . . . And yes, the twins did end up running in two different directions, but they are starting to listen a little better. Mommy did have to swoop Ben up before getting too close to the street. After calling for him to come back and getting the "Ha ha, I'll do what I want" grin Ben is famous for, Mommy knew she'd better start running for him! We left shortly after that . . .

Dr. Seuss Hats

Every year, Kelly (Mommy's friend and ex-teammate) makes Dr. Seuss hats for the entire 5th grade at the school where she worked. Kelly is in her first year of retirement and still made hundreds of these hats for the school. Kelly made us our very own smaller Dr. Seuss hats to wear. We love them!

The school put on a Seussical Musical and we got to go see it! I think we lasted about 10 minutes, then ran around in the hallway outside the gym during the remaining 40 minutes. We like to help Mommy get her exercise in somehow.

My bros and me

My brothers and I love to just chill on the couch. Well, we love taking all of the cushions off and jumping on it more!
