Oh, how we miss you, Mr. Sun!

Here we are in the last week of May and it's raining and pouring and there's even been some afternoon snoring! (Ben and I actually fell asleep this afternoon.)

We sure had some fun when the sun was out a couple of weeks ago, so thought I'd post those in hopes of the golden ray return.

Full House MOMS Spring Party

The boys had fun running, jumping, sliding, and playing around with lots of other twins and triplets at our annual FHM Spring Party.

Biker Boys

Brian and Carson went for a bike ride through the neighborhood, down to the duck pond today.  Ben and Gavin rode around the cul-de-sac practicing their skills closer to home.  I helped Ben work on using his brakes.  He goes so fast!  Gavin finally got off his trike and tried his bike and loved it after he got his balance.  Now all three boys are on bikes!

Visited a new (to us) park on Sunday and discovered this really cool slide. The boys spent most of the time there going down this slide. They tried to go up it, but it's impossible. Pretty funny to watch!

Helloooo Spring!

The sun's been out and we've been loving it!  We've been playing in the backyard this week and spent some time at a park with our friend, Merrick, earlier today.

It rained all week, then 85 all weekend! We're feeling much better after two days of antibiotics, still a bit cranky, but loving the sunshine!

Biker Dudes

With the weather so nice, we've decided to take our bikes and trikes out for a spin in our cul-de-sac. My bike is too small for me now, so I'm supposed to get a new one soon. The trikes are just about perfect for my brothers. Gavin was having some problems reaching the pedals (in the middle), but we have another trike in the shed he can try. This was our first time wearing shorts this year and unfortunately, both Ben and Gavin fell or tripped and scraped their knees up a little.

Goompa's B-day and the Farm

Aunt Corrine and Cousin Zoey rode with us to meet up with Grandma Michelle at a farm before heading to their house to celebrate Grandpa Jack's birthday. My brothers and Zoey fed a goat, we ran around a fort, and played in the cool playground. (Mommy thinks the rock stairs would be a great addition to our backyard.;) It was sooo cold, but at least it didn't rain while we were there.

That's Gavin sound asleep in the chair. Ben and Gavin both fell asleep on the ride home, while Zoey talked and talked with Carson in the far back. It was a long morning/afternoon, full of fun!

Truffle Shuffle

Our first dinner at the coast was spent in Astoria for Grandma Joanne's birthday. We ate at Gino's which is located just under the Goonies house, so we had to visit. Mommy and Daddy both have stories about visiting the Goonies house as kids, but Daddy's story definitely wins. He's actually been inside! Daddy's Great Grandma Mimi dated the owner of the house, back when she was in her 80's, in the 80's. So, she took Daddy and Uncle Bob there when they were kids. How exciting!

Mommy took a picture of the elementary school where Kindergarten Cop was filmed as we drove by. My Grandpa Dennis went to school there! Also cool!

We stopped to get all of our energy out at a really fun park. Grandma Joanne found her name on the fence inside the Tot's area since she had donated money toward the new structure. Very nice!
