Twilight Movie Sites

On the way to Forks (and on the way back), Mom and Dad stopped off in Kalama where the Forks High School scenes were filmed. (They watched the movie while in Forks and decided they needed a better picture of the front of the school and the grassy area where the picnic table scene took place.)

On Monday, the day after getting home, Kelly and Mommy ate lunch at Carver Cafe in Carver where the diner scenes were filmed.

La Push, Baby. It's . . . La Push.

First Beach with James Island in the background.

Mommy: Second Beach we just finished hiking to and now we have to climb over all of this driftwood!

Another picture of the driftwood they just climbed back over to hike back to the car.

Jacob Black's house with Jacob's motorcycle and Bella's truck in front of the garage.

The beach scenes take place in La Push and it's home to the Quileute Tribe, Jacob Black, and his pack. Mom and Dad hiked to Second Beach for the lowest tide of the month.

Twilight Tour of Forks

Bella & Charlie's house.

Not our van. Other, more obsessed fans. (Mommy only wishes she'd thought of this.)

For their 10th wedding anniversary, Mommy and Daddy went up to Forks, Washington to visit the town where the Twilight books by Stephanie Meyer take place. They had a great time finding locations from the books in Forks and LaPush.

Father's Day AM & PM

We jumped into bed to wake Daddy up with some presents this morning.

He always reads us stories before we go to bed at night, even if he can't see the book. ;)

We love our daddy soooo much! He is an awesome daddy! The very best!

Why we need daily baths

Today's blog is backwards, but I'm sure you get the idea. This was after four hours of preschool. And you wonder why my mom was still so tired that night! :)

Preschool Summer School

This was our first day together at preschool summer school. I'm officially a kindergartner and my brothers will be going here three days a week next year for preschool. It was so much fun playing together. Mommy hopes it can last all summer.

Our new slide!

For my brothers' third birthday, Grandma & Grandpa J. got my brothers a slide for our backyard! "It is so cool. I am not kidding you." I was so excited about it that I couldn't sleep, so Mommy and Daddy let me go down it one the ballisters were on. The coolest thing is that we can see out into the field behind our house now and watch the cars on the freeway. (Yes, that is Gavin in the training undies. He tends to take his clothes off as soon as he steps outside. It's his "thing." It's what he does.

Last Day of Preschool and Friends & Fun Club

I'm now officially a kindergartener! My last day was today, but I'll be going back to Crescere Kids for summer school with my brothers once a week. My friends in these pictures are Drew and Lucas.

Ben and Gavin had their last day of Friends & Fun Club also. They loved all of the piles of toys, especially the cars, that were set out for the morning of fun! Their friends in these pictures are Caleb, Lincoln, and Kingston.

Recent Happenings

Ben had his last day of at home speech yesterday. Ben and Gavin both benefited from the experience. Gavin's speech is clearer and Ben is now talking all of the time. He used to just nod his head and smile. He's become very vocal; however, he'll continue speech at an hour a week class starting in July. Still has a way to go to catch up, but there's been a lot of improvement.

The boys really loved having Jean come over. At random times, Gavin would ask, "Where Jean at?" Ben sat in her lap during this last session while he practiced, "Open block" and identified the objects inside. It was very sweet.

Mommy babysat Olivia yesterday afternoon and we really enjoyed having a girl over. She liked the Dora legos and flower legos we have. I was there, just not in this picture.

Today, Mommy took Ben and Gavin to Me, too! Cafe for Grown-Ups to play with Luke, Isaiah, and Garrett (his preschool is done). First thing they did was put on these capes. Mommy found these shirts on sale at Gymboree. I got one with a big lightning bolt that says, "Fast as Lightning" which I say about myself as I run through our house. Ben's shirt says, "Part Time Trouble Maker" and Gav's says, "Monkey See, Monkey Do."

We 3 Crazy Kings

We made these crowns with Mommy just for fun and transformed into three wild and crazy kings!
