Seeing Double

Our twins club party was at a huge park that included this fun water feature.  Can you spot the twins?

Coolest Slide Ever

Visited a new (to us) park on Sunday and discovered this really cool slide. The boys spent most of the time there going down this slide. They tried to go up it, but it's impossible. Pretty funny to watch!

Tuesday with the twins

Managed to pack in a full day of fun with Ben and Gavin on Tuesday while Carson was at kindergarten.  It was such a beautiful day and since I wasn't subbing, we decided to take advantage of the day.  First, we spent some time walking around the zoo.  Most animals were out, eating or playing, so we've discovered that 9:30 at the zoo is a great time to see the animals out and about.  Next, we drove out to IKEA for lunch and to look for a darker lampshade for Carson's room.  On the way back, we thought we'd check in to see if we could visit Brian at work.  He was on his lunch break, so we got to ride the tram with him!  So cool!    Lastly, we picked up Carson from school at 3 PM and met up with our friends at the park to play before heading home for dinner.  Whew!  It was a fun day that would catch up with me on Wednesday, for sure.  ;)

Cooper Mountain Nature Walk

A new park trail opened in our area, so we braved the cold and discovered a cool park and an amazing view at the trailhead. We walked the shortest trail which was just perfect for our family. The boys enjoyed the walk and especially loved all of the animal prints in the cement (just like on Bob the Builder).

Daddy's 35th Birthday

For Daddy's birthday, we attempted a dinner out at Old Spaghetti Factory. Since we arrived half an hour before it opened, we went to a nearby park to play first. I found this cool twirly thing and Ben went down the BIG slide over and over. (Which is great because he would always turn around to go back down the stairs until today!)

All three of us did a pretty good job sitting still during dinner, but my brothers started to lose it toward the end. (And our waitress was pretty quick, too.) Mommy had to take Gavin out during ice cream time because he started screaming. None of us wanted our macaroni & cheese, Ben only ate the apple sauce and played with his milk cup, and Gavin only drank a little milk. I loved the bread! I ate my applesauce and some mac & cheese so I could get ice cream. After this outing, Mommy and Daddy decided that it will be another few months before they are willing to take my brothers out again. I did so well that they said we can go out, just the three of us! I can't wait! Maybe I'll earn it soon . . .
