Mother's Day Tea

Mother's Day was last weekend, but Corrine, Zoey, Mom, and I got to celebrate again at a retirement home by "adopting" grandmas for an afternoon tea.  We chatted it up with some lovely grandmas, sang some songs, listened to a former "Survivor" contestant speak, and checked out the wildlife in the "hidden lake" outside.  It was a beautiful day and very relaxing after a very busy Mother's Day weekend.

Mommy's Mother's Day Gift

Before-No workable space.

Clearing out the space.

Finding the stud. (Daddy thought he was a stud, wearing his old t-shirt from high school.)

The (kinda) finished product. Still plan to put the other white shelf up on the left (and there's still a mess on the other side of the room to organize.)

Daddy put together Mommy's new scrapbooking area. She's been organizing it today and even did a little work on my brothers' baby albums.

I also drew some pretty cool pictures for her, like one of her with bones inside and a heart. I also made lots of big hearts for her and wrote "Happy Mother's Day Mommy" on the paper, too.

Daddy played with us outside a lot today, after church and picking up a new desk for the office.
