Berry Picking

On a day that Emily was up to help for the day, we decided to try our hands at berry picking. Unfortunately, due to the heat wave in the previous week/days, many of the berries were partially burned and dried, but we managed to find a few to take home and eat.

Mommy didn't go to the same college as any of these other mommies, but she met Cheryl & Julie through Jill during college days. Lisa's been Mommy's friend since high school and spent a year at the same college as all of the other mommies here, and Jill has been Mommy's good friend since middle school. It's fun to get together and play with all of the kids while our mommies talk! We went to see Jill, Avery, and Ryan while they are visiting from Texas.

Sweet Dreams

Fell asleep on the couch while Grandma was babysitting and sang myself to sleep another night.

Mommy babysat Emily & Dylan that day, but Mommy definitely wouldn't have enjoyed this zoo trip as much as she did if they weren't there with us. They were a huge help!

Ben and Gavin had a great time at their Speed Racer/Lightning McQueen Race Car birthday party. They loved playing with their friends, blowing out their candles, eating the frosting off their cake, opening gifts, and playing with new presents. Thank you everyone!
