Zoo Lights

We finally made it to Zoo Lights!  It was a warmer, dry evening and so the zoo was PACKED, but we really enjoyed our first outing to see the annual display of Christmas lights all around the zoo.  I think the bus ride to and from the overflow lot and chasing the cheetah lights were the highlight of the evening for the boys.  I thought the zoo looked beautiful and can't believe how many lights they have on!

 What a beautiful, clear day to visit the zoo.  We bundled up, thank goodness, because it was quite chilly.

A bowling Carson will go

Carson and Garrett are taking bowling lessons once a week this January through March through our local parks and rec.  They've had so much fun these past two weeks, going from using the bumper lanes to actually bowling pretty straight.  High fives to these two little guys!

We were pleasantly surprised by a snow storm today! After a playgroup this morning, we stopped at our friend's house to play some more, then small flurries started coming down, much to our amazement! We let the boys play outside, then pow! It really started coming down! Luckily, we made it home easily, although I didn't make it up our driveway! Brian made it home in a little over an hour after putting on chains after work. The highways are a mess out there, so I'm so grateful that Brian made it home okay and so early.

Super 3-D Bowl

We enjoyed Sunday afternoon and evening with our friends, Chloe and Caleb, at their house. We played trains, Care Bears, race cars, dolls, ate pizza, watched Super Bowl commercials in 3-D, and lastly, played a fun racing game!

January Snow

It's back! The snow has almost all melted now, but it was fun to see this morning. I didn't go to preschool, so we enjoyed a long day at home, which included singing "Jingle Bells" with Daddy, watching Kung Fu Panda, and taking all of our clothes off numerous times.

Fun with Emily

We love having Emily visit! She is so much fun and a huge help to Mommy. The twins got Mickey Mouse balloons at the mall after Friends and Fun Club, and Emily gave me one after preschool, too.

Mommy came home to a big surprise tonight! We were all hiding/playing inside our TV cabinet! She is now thinking the lock needs to be fixed on it . . .
