Family Time on Easter Day

Grandma Joanne and Grandpa Dennis hosted Easter dinner at their home Sunday afternoon. Grandma Michelle, Grandpa Jack, Aunt Corrine, Uncle Mike, Cousin Zoey, and our family all enjoyed a very yummy dinner. I ate some ham and Gavin ate three cupcakes.

We attempted a family picture of Mommy's side, but I was not very cooperative at that moment. We forgot to get one of Daddy's side (Grandpa was slicing the ham & Grandma was getting all of the food out), but we still have a cute one from last year on the same couch, in the "White room."

Gavin, Ben, and Zoey are now big enough to climb up on the bouncy horse all by themselves and we all had fun playing Grandma Joanne's piano. Zoey twirled and danced for us, too. It was all very entertaining and we all snoozed soundly the entire drive back home.

Thank you, Easter Bunny

We hunted for eggs in our family room Sunday morning and discovered that ALL of the eggs were filled with Legos! Then, I hunted for the dozen real eggs that I painted in the dining room after reminding Mommy that the Easter Bunny forgot about those. Or at least I thought he forgot . . .

Easter Egg Hunt

We went to see the Easter Bunny at a local mall, but were too early (just like our attempt to see Santa). The display photographer took a picture of our family on the bench anyway, which was very nice of her.

Mommy saw signs for an Easter Egg Hunt at the church/park near my preschool, so we decided to check it out. It was so much fun and we plan to go again next year. Gavin and Ben went first with the 0-3 age bracket, then I went on a hunt with the 4-6 year olds. We didn't bring baskets, but Daddy took one of our backpacks out of the car, so we took turns holding the backpack when it wasn't our turn to hunt for eggs. I saw a couple of boys from my preschool, too, so that was fun!

Biker Dudes

With the weather so nice, we've decided to take our bikes and trikes out for a spin in our cul-de-sac. My bike is too small for me now, so I'm supposed to get a new one soon. The trikes are just about perfect for my brothers. Gavin was having some problems reaching the pedals (in the middle), but we have another trike in the shed he can try. This was our first time wearing shorts this year and unfortunately, both Ben and Gavin fell or tripped and scraped their knees up a little.

The Great Outdoors

It is finally warm enough and dry enough to play outside, at least for a few days, until the rain starts up again. Mommy watched Luke this morning and he had fun in our backyard playing with Gavin and Ben.

Zoo with my new pass!

On Sunday, I went to the zoo with Garrett, Isaiah, and our mommies. We had a nice time in the sunny weather even though the zoo was packed with visitors! Everyone had the same idea since the sun finally came out in the Pacific Northwest. We now have a family zoo pass that I got from Grandma Joanne for my birthday so I plan to visit the zoo often.

Extra, Extra

Mommy's going to be an extra in a new movie being filmed in Portland. It's called "Crowley" and she'll be an extra while filming at OHSU. Daddy charmed his way into getting her the part (He knows people on the hill) and decided to have his picture taken to be an extra as well.

The stars of the movie are Harrison Ford, Brendan Fraser, and Keri Russell. I'm telling all of my friends that Mommy's starring in a movie with Indiana Jones!! :)
