Movie Extras in "Untitled Crowley Project"

Starbucks Drive-Thru at 5:00 AM

Paging Dr. Brian
Heading home for the day, with a duffle bag full of clothing options.

They parked in the crew parking.

Ben climbing all over Mommy while she was trying to post to Facebook late that afternoon. Daddy went straight to bed. Mommy and Daddy were wiped out, but we were still full of energy!

Mommy and Daddy got up at 4:00 AM to make 5:15 and 5:45 AM call times for their roles as extras in an upcoming movie. The scenes were filmed at OHSU, where Daddy works. The film stars Keri Russell, Brendan Fraser, and Harrison Ford. Unfortunately, Harrison Ford was done filming in Oregon, but they did get to see and eat lunch with Keri and Brendan.

It was a fun experience for both of them, but they don't have any plans to try it again soon. It was a long day of hurry up and wait and wait and wait. In the end, they didn't even get filmed! Only some of the extras were used, so that was a bummer, but the way it goes for extras they found out.

Backyard Excitement

Daddy and his friend from college, Jeremy, spent the entire weekend working on a pergola in our backyard. It was hot, hot, hot, so we spent most of the time in the sprinkler, playing in the turtle pool, and inside with the AC on. Mommy spent most of the weekend trying to keep us all away from Daddy and Jeremy. She set up two play tool benches and gave us real wood to use!

Gavin also found a strawberry in our garden. He spends most of the afternoons naked. Likes to strip off his clothes as soon as he goes outside. Also, Ben and Gavin have both been going on the potty a lot lately, inside and outside. Gavin got to wear my underwear the other day and really liked it.

Fun in the sun sprinkler run

It rained all week, then 85 all weekend! We're feeling much better after two days of antibiotics, still a bit cranky, but loving the sunshine!

House full of sickies

Daddy stayed home most of last week with a sore throat and finally went in Friday morning to discover he had Strep Throat. So, Mommy and Daddy took the rest of us in after nap time to discover that all of us boys had it as well. Mommy was the only one that didn't get it.

This really explains all of our behavior this week. Mommy snapped these pictures of Gavin and Ben on Friday morning, screaming and crying for Daddy, who was just in the office trying to email his work that he'd be gone another day. None of us complained of sore throats, but I did have a headache Thursday night and ALL of us had been very fussy!

Mommy's Mother's Day Gift

Before-No workable space.

Clearing out the space.

Finding the stud. (Daddy thought he was a stud, wearing his old t-shirt from high school.)

The (kinda) finished product. Still plan to put the other white shelf up on the left (and there's still a mess on the other side of the room to organize.)

Daddy put together Mommy's new scrapbooking area. She's been organizing it today and even did a little work on my brothers' baby albums.

I also drew some pretty cool pictures for her, like one of her with bones inside and a heart. I also made lots of big hearts for her and wrote "Happy Mother's Day Mommy" on the paper, too.

Daddy played with us outside a lot today, after church and picking up a new desk for the office.

Daddy's 35th Birthday

For Daddy's birthday, we attempted a dinner out at Old Spaghetti Factory. Since we arrived half an hour before it opened, we went to a nearby park to play first. I found this cool twirly thing and Ben went down the BIG slide over and over. (Which is great because he would always turn around to go back down the stairs until today!)

All three of us did a pretty good job sitting still during dinner, but my brothers started to lose it toward the end. (And our waitress was pretty quick, too.) Mommy had to take Gavin out during ice cream time because he started screaming. None of us wanted our macaroni & cheese, Ben only ate the apple sauce and played with his milk cup, and Gavin only drank a little milk. I loved the bread! I ate my applesauce and some mac & cheese so I could get ice cream. After this outing, Mommy and Daddy decided that it will be another few months before they are willing to take my brothers out again. I did so well that they said we can go out, just the three of us! I can't wait! Maybe I'll earn it soon . . .

My OSU Future Beaver Visitation

Daddy took me to OSU to watch a Beaver baseball game with Grandpa Dennis and Grandma Joanne. It was fun, but we took lots of breaks, touring the Memorial Union (where we played air hockey) and Dixon Recreation Center, one of Daddy's favorite hangouts during his college years.

It was such a fun day and I can't wait to do it again!
